Executive Director

Terry

Terry Kyllo is the Executive Director of Paths to Understanding: Gathering Neighbors, Growing Trust. He is passionate about renewing civil society and democracy by helping communities build trust across deep divides—because he believes we are living too divided, and we do not have to live this way. A Lutheran pastor, Terry works through local practice, media, and public leadership to bring neighbors back into relationship, so we can build a world where everyone belongs and everyone can thrive.

Hannah

With more than 10 years of experience in educational and program development spaces, Hannah is deeply invested in the work of youth empowerment, advocacy, and peacebuilding. As a non-profit and education professional, she has a passion for interfaith partnership, supporting social justice movements, and developing strategy for conflict resolution around the world. She has worked with youth across the United States, and globally in Western Europe, South Asia, and the Middle East. She has also navigated the fields of mental health counseling and religious education. Hannah holds an M.A in Religion and Theology from Seattle University.

Viveka

Viveka Hall-Holt delights in weaving communities together to share in the beauty and vulnerability of being human. As a child of parents who grew up in West Africa and someone who spent time learning in many countries, she spent her early life surrounded by diverse cultural values and an understanding of the power of wisdom traditions. After graduating with degrees in religion and psychology, Viveka worked with Paths to Understanding as a Rabbi Levine and Father Treacy Fellow, contributing to the development of the Go and Do Likewise and Let's Go Together programs. In her current role as LGT Program Coordinator, Viveka facilitates community building by working with leaders to bring people from all corners of the community together to bridge divides and know each other.

Administrative and Communications Coordinator

Ana

Ana has always known she wanted to be aligned with educational and community-strengthening causes. Ana discovered her spiritual gifts in administration while teaching in Europe and honed them upon returning to the U.S. through administrative roles in the education, nonprofit, and consulting industries. She has volunteered for multiple social justice, arts education, faith-based, and underserved youth causes over the past decade, twice receiving the President’s Volunteer Service Award. She is tri-lingual and holds a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management.
